It is the second largest park in the City of Mendoza. Within it, there are many impressive government buildings, including the Ángel Bustelo auditorium, the Monument to the Flag of the Army of the Andes, and a variety of ancient vegetation. It’s an ideal place for a walk and to get some fresh air in the city.
This park, founded in 1951, was chosen to host the main government buildings.
Palace of Justice and Government House: Both buildings are located near the center of the park and are notable for their size and architectural beauty. They are distinguished by their grand entrance stairs and surrounding gardens. On weekday mornings, they are quite busy.
In front of the Government House stands the Monument to the Flag of the Army of the Andes.
The Municipal Building is located on one side of the park, and at the top, there is an observation deck.
Additionally, the Ángel Bustelo Auditorium, one of the largest and most important in the province, is also located within the park.
